Recorded: 1st take. the ending is improv. got to the end of the take and realized we didnt write an ending! bret signaled to keep going so we did and in my opinion the ending turned out great.
Written: on some japanese guitar i bought in a pawn shop for $70 which was half broken so i could only have the three lowest strings and one treble string (with a space in between). which made it interesting to play & tune. (the tuning is some really weird shit i made up but i like it for the song).
Badass: the whammy bar is a screwdriver that i super-glued into the whammy socket - and the guitar has the craziest bridge ive ever seen in my life - it goes all the way down and i mean all the freakin' way til the strings are hanging two or more inches off the neck. that guitar is punk to the soul.
