about

"Intended to be listened to as a single piece of music, half an hour long. Fully written and recorded in 3 days worth of sessions for my uncle, Doug Wallis, after his passing on July 22, 2010. This is the fastest I've ever recorded an album. It was inspired partly by George Harrison's Wonderwall Music (soundtrack) among other albums passed on to me by my uncle which all greatly influenced my perception of music. I always thought of him as an outlaw poet and I guess this is my idea of something he would have liked a lot. He was one of the very few people who ever told me that my first solo album was even good - he actually said he loved it. I'm not sure if I would have tried as hard to make more records if it weren't for my Uncle Doug, Justin Wallis and Chad Siwinski".
